Pregnancy Myths

Myths about pregnancy and fertility abound. Ask any woman, and she will probably have heard at least a few of these. Many people fine themselves wondering which fertility myths might have some truth to them. Here are some of the most popular myths:

Boxers or briefs? This is perhaps the most pervading myth out there about fertility and men. Does it matter if they wear boxers or briefs? The answer is yes, it does matter if they wear boxers or briefs. Wearing boxers keeps their sperm at a better temperature for optimum fertility.

Do yeast infections interfere with fertility? No, whether or not you have a yeast infection has nothing to do with fertility.
Should you have sex first thing in the morning to increase the chances of fertility? In fact, a man's sperm count is not any better in the morning than at any other time of the day. Their sperm count goes up and down naturally during the day, and morning is not some magic time with the best sperm count.

Can you get pregnant if you don't have an orgasm? Of course you can. Having an orgasm does not affect fertility. Having an orgasm just means that you are enjoying the process of trying to get pregnant.
