Cure Insomnia

1. Do not worry about not getting enough sleep. It is highly unlikely that someone might die from lack of sleep. Because your body would try and get atleast the minimum amount of sleep it requires. So worrying about getting into serious trouble because of lack of sleep might not be necessary.

2. Try to overcome the urge to try harder and harder to sleep while you are in bed. It can be far better if you just learn to relax and let go of the worry that you are unable to sleep. While in bed, try to relax instead of trying to sleep and you should be able to sleep off easily after some time.

3. Try to make a habit of rising up early. If you rise up early each day, no matter how much sleepy you feel, your body will be forced to make up for it. And you might feel sleepy much earlier than your usual time the next night. This habit of going to bed and rising early can be beneficial in overcoming insomnia.

4. Try to keep your mind free from worries, planning or thinking about important things while lying in bed. If such thoughts do come to you, you can gently remind yourself that you will think about it later in the morning.

5. Try to get sufficient amount of sunlight and physical exercise during the day, which can help you to sleep better at night.

These were a few suggestions to sleep better each night for people who have been having this problem and want to know how to cure insomnia once and for all.
A lot of factors might be responsible for this condition - ranging from health problems, poor sleep habits, poor hygiene, stress, worries etc. Sleeping pills or other such medication might not be the best long-term solution to this problem. Sleeping pills can cause harm to your health in the long term and they do not solve the actual cause of the insomnia problem. It is best to stay away from such pills.
