UFO as big as Switzerland? PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 05 May 2009

On the morning of Friday the 24th of April of this year employees at MeteoSwiss (Switzerland’s meteorological department) got the surprise of their lives. Huge circular fields hovering over Switzerland were picked up by their radars (picture above). The blue coloured circles covered the entire country. The question was asked as to whether a massive UFO was in the upper-atmosphere above the scenic mountainous nation or perhaps these circles were signs of an imminent hurricane.

Felix Schacher, a senior Meteorologist at MeteoSwiss claimed the circles were not UFOs or the signs of a hurricane about to wreak havoc on his country. Mr Schacher told the Swiss news site ’20 Minutes’ that they were merely caused by the reflection of water droplets that just happened to form a circular shape.

A few minutes after being queried on the issue the radar images were hurriedly removed from the departments website. Many Swiss UFO researchers have left comments on various internet forums expressing their doubt on the 'reflection water droplets' story, asking why was the image so quickly removed and who ordered its removal.

Weird
A few days ago, we had the weirdest storm ever witnessed in Brussels. At 2-3 AM, 30,000 lightning bolts felt from the sky in 30 Min... Looking anywhere, one could see sustained lightning bolts (from 1-10 per seconds) and it lasted for half an hour... Could the big Swiss UFO ship have come to negotiate with the EU Government? :-)

Former extra terrestrial
It's a buried snowboarder with an avalanche tag in his jacket. Just wait till June, the mountain bikers will find them.

Mr
Just a thought on the interference patterns shown on the meteorological map, could these patterns be caused by trials in relation to the startup of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider)??, which is due to come online again later this year.

Mr
The Meteorologist at MeteoSwiss claimed the circles were merely caused by the reflection of water droplets, and the image does appear patchy, like cloud formations. Radar is basically electromagnetic pulses being reflected off objects. Therefore at the center of these two circles/waves of electromagnetic energy, there should be a source. Its difficult to confirm a true center at this resolution, but it appears to be around the Zug/Horgen/Affoltern area (Not to far from Zurich). Problem : What causes massive electromagnetic pulses? Perhaps Switzerland is working on Nuclear or EMP weapons? There are some mountains in the area mentioned, could they get away with underground testing? Could this explain why a few minutes after being queried on the issue the radar images were hurriedly removed from the met departments website? What do you think out there...has anyone come across radar reflections from an EMP or nuclear test on the web before?
