IMF projects 2% growth for Macedonia |

The economic growth of Macedonia will be two percent this year, whereas
in 2011 it will amount to three percent, states the annual projection of
the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to which Macedonia
recorded negative growth rate of 0.7 percent last year.
Moreover, the IMF predicts that Macedonia’s real GDP growth will reach
four percent in 2015. This year, Macedonia will record inflation rate of
two percent and three percent next year. According to the IMF,
Macedonia’s deflation amounted to 1.6 percent last year. The current
account deficit has been predicted to reach six percent this year
compared with 7.3 percent last year. In 2011, it should drop to 5.3
percent and to 4 percent in 2015.
