President Gjorge Ivanov met on Friday with a delegation of Macedonia's Red Cross, Ivanov's Cabinet said in a statement.

The president was briefed about the Red Cross' activities and inner reforms.

Red Cross Secretary General Sali Saiti said the organization focuses on providing aid to poor citizens and on projects aiming to improve the quality of life.

Saiti presented projects that aim to encourage solidarity among youths, such as blood donation initiative Club 25 and other projects.
