Army puts Sandbags at Ohrid Lake PDF Print E-mail

Around 13.000 sandbags were placed in the past two days at critical points, the coordination body of the government dealing with flood consequences has reported.

They informed that about 300 people from the armed services (ARM), rescue teams, road crews were engaged on the terrains.

Crews will continue building stone walls in Pestani and at the same time will continue forming sandbags in the area of Kalista and Radozda, as a prevention of erosion due to the rise of the water-level.

The water-level of Ohrid Lake has been measured 24cm above limit on Thusrday.
