Air Baltic wants Belgrade-Riga flights PDF Print E-mail

Latvia’s airline Air Baltic filed a request to introduce service between Belgrade and Riga. Air Baltic plans to launch the service on May 5, 2010 and offer four flights a week.

According to the information available on Air Baltic website, the airline carried nearly 2.8 million passengers in 2009, 6 percent more than in 2008.

The website also indicates that Air Baltic is the only European company in majority state ownership which made positive business results in 2009. Latvia holds 52.6 percent stake in the airline, which currently consists of 31 aircrafts.
