Most flights at Istanbul International Ataturk airport have been cancelled today as winter storm hit most of Turkey.

The severe weather conditions prompted outbound flight delays or cancellation of flights to Skopje, Rome, Milan and Zagreb.

Planes that were bound for Trabzon, Synop, Van and Ankara didn't take off, local media said.
